چکیده

We have considered phonon-induced superconductivity on a square lattice. The antiferromagnetic correlations that are present in high-temperature superconductors (HTSC) have been simulated by the staggered magnetic field. The Eliashberg equations have been generalized to account for the momentum dependent order parameter, and the superconducting transition temperature Tc has been evaluated within the strong-coupling theory. The two-dimensional band structure has explicitly been taken into account. It occurs that the results obtained for Tc when considering d-wave symmetry of the superconducting state much better reflect the experimentally observed behavior than those derived for s-wave symmetry. The isotope shift exponent has also been evaluated. One can observe that the introduction of the staggered magnetic field leads to the decrease of this quantity. Therefore, the presence of the staggered magnetic field may contribute to experimentally observed values of smaller than the BCS value of 1⁄2

Magnetic Properties in a Spin-1 Random Transverse Ising Model on Square Lattice

In this paper we investigate the effect of a random transverse field, distributed according to a trimodal distribution, on the phase diagram and magnetic properties of a two-dimensional lattice (square with z=4),  ferromagnetic Ising system consisting of magnetic atoms with spin-1. This study is done using the effectivefield theory (EFT) with correlations method. The equations are derived using...

Spin Singlet Ordering Suggested by Repulsive Interactions

We consider a correlated wavefunction including particle-hole pairing at half a reciprocal lattice vector for itinerant electrons hopping on a square lattice in two dimensions and subject both to on-site and nearest-neighbor repulsion. We find, within mean field theory, that in a suitable range of parameters there is a tendency toward a novel form of ordering characterized by discrete symmetry ...

ادغام الگوی شبکه‌ای هولشتاین - کاندو برای توصیف نظریه ابررساناهای دمای بالا

It is a common knowledge that the formation of electron pairs is a necessary ingredient of any theoretical work describing superconductivity. Thus, finding the mechanism of the formation of the electron pairs is of utmost importance. There are some experiments on high transition temperature superconductors which support the electron-phonon (e-ph) interactions as the pairing mechanism (ARPES),...

Electron-phonon interaction via electronic and lattice Wannier functions: superconductivity in boron-doped diamond reexamined.

We present a first-principles technique for investigating the electron-phonon interaction with millions of k points in the Brillouin zone, which exploits the spatial localization of electronic and lattice Wannier functions. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our technique by elucidating the phonon mechanism responsible for superconductivity in boron-doped diamond. Our calculated phonon self-en...
